Residents in the 108 Mile Water Service Area will be voting, on February 27, 2016, to determine whether they wish to undertake borrowing for improvements to their water system. Upgrades are needed in order to address issues associated with high concentrations of manganese and lower lake levels caused by the existing wells. Two-thirds funding has been secured from the Small Communities Fund, and the other 1/3 will need to be borrowed.

Further information about this upcoming referendum will posted on this page as it becomes available.
