Evacuation orders for Plateau Fire area downgraded to alerts
Williams Lake, B.C. – Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District has lifted the evacuation alert for the Kleena Kleene area to all clear.
Williams Lake, B.C. – Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District, Yunesit’in Government and Tl'esqox First Nation – Toosey Indian Band have lifted multiple evacuation alerts in the east Chilcotin to all clear.
Order downgraded to alert for southeast Chilcotin
Williams Lake, B.C. – Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District has lifted an eastern portion of the Kleena Kleene evacuation alert issued Sept. 5 to all clear. As a result, the Tatla Lake School is now able to open for students.
Williams Lake, B.C. – Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District has lifted the evacuation order for the area on the northwest side of Quesnel Lake and the evacuation alert for the Maeford Lake area to all clear.
Williams Lake, B.C. – The Cariboo Regional District, Ulkatcho First Nation, ?Esdilagh First Nation and Nazko First Nation jointly announced today that the evacuation alerts issued for multiple communities west of the Fraser River have been lifted to all clear.
Evacuation alert lifted for Alkali Lake and Dog Creek areas
Williams Lake, B.C. – The Cariboo Regional District in conjunction with Tŝideldel/Redstone jointly announced today that pursuant to the BC Emergency Program Act, that the alert in the Kleena Kleene and Tatla Lake Area and the alert in Alexis Creek to Riske Creek have both been rescinded and replaced by the following two alerts:

Residents will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation; However you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
